چکیده
Abstract In recent days, the waste productions from industries are increased and direct discharge of wastes causes various pollution to environment. Wastewater treatment in textile dye industry mainly involves highly colored wastewater containing variety dyes different concentrations. The dyeing using types pigments concentration during their several production steps. These a which contains organic substance, high colour with COD low BOD. This water directly streams thus contaminate groundwater. To treat wastewater, is simple physio-chemical not sufficient for removal pollutants. So that biological followed have been required. this study, experiment was carried out reduce colour, COD, BOD, Heavy metals laboratory scale Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor Granular activated Carbon bed (GAC NLP-MBBR) Neem leaf powder. A thick granular carbon used adsorption technique wastewater. GAC 8cm layered by Ennore sand 3 grades 4cm equally. Then MBBR operated continuously retention times. polypropylene type bio balls were microorganism attachment MBBR. outlet treated membrane process. Membrane process moving membranes reduces pH, contents, heavy metals, turbidity etc., final effluent suitable Irrigation.

The Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor
A new biofilm reactor for wastewater treatment, the moving bed biofilm reactor (MBBR), is discussed. A general description of the reactor is given. Results from investigations of different applications (carbonaceous removal, nitrification and nitrogen removal) when used for municipal wastewater treatment, are discussed. Design values are given and it is demonstrated that use of this reactor res...

متن کاملA survey on the performance of moving bed biofilm reactor and rapid sand filter in wastewater treatment
Moving bed biofilm reactor (MBBR) is a process in which attached growth is utilized for wastewater treatment. This process does not require sludge recycling or backwash. Activated sludge processes can be promoted to an MBBR by adding media to an aeration tank. Rapid sand filter is a physical method for the removal of total suspended solids (TSS) in advanced wastewater treatment. The purpose of ...
